The men’s player of the year is Robert Lewandowski! Just the 55 goals in 47 games for the Polish forward last term. “I’m very grateful, very proud and very happy,” he says, clutching the odd torso-shaped trophy.
Pernille Harder wins the women’s player of the year award! The Danish forward scored 38 goals in 33 games last season; the WSL should watch out.

Never even knew this happened. I thought it was early in the morning these draws are made. We will enjoy our trip to Wales, Italy and hopefully Ajax aren't as good as they were.

I think Leipzig makes it and Man United not. Surprised by your Chelsea not making it to next round prediction. I think they would be no.1 in the group.

Damn, I don't think there's a single team of those 32 I give the smallest hint of a fuck about...Brugge and Porto maybe. Looks like I'll be folliwing the Europa League only this year

I’m always curious about these draws. Does Ferencvaros feel good that they get home games against Madrid and Juve ? Or is the prospect of 4 absolute hidings a bad thing ?

Thought it was a bit of a joke putting Sevilla in the top seeds pot in the basis of winning the Europa League.
I'm not sure if this was the case with Sevilla last year or not but you can drop OUT of the Champions League into Europa League, so how can you then be considered one of the elite sides just for winning the consolation trophy? 🤔

I looked up Basaksehir and this is what I found:
So I guess that partially explains their rapid ascension and their first league title...
