I had never thought of it as a horror film before. I can see how somebody might think it was horrifying. As an aside, I don't think Rock Hudson ever gave a better performance.

Yeah, I paused and thought about "Seconds" before adding it. Whether it was science fiction or maybe a Twilight Zone-ish kind of thing. But in the end, I chose it mainly because of the dark, frightening ending and because it is just a good and effective movie.
