The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451 and the above 3 already mentioned and probably several titles I've forgotten about because I read a lot of Bradbury years ago when my mind was still young and fresh.

Not a novel, but the Collected Stories is a must-have for me. Nothing showcases Bradbury's mastery of the atmospheric as completely as his shorter works do. I love his novels too, but the short stories are something especially special.

Ive only ever read Fahrenheit 451 and I didn't care for most of it, but the ending was so good that it saved it for me. On goodreads i gave it 3 stars and wrote "Slow going mostly but the ending makes up for any negatives I had about the rest of the novel." Not the most in depth review, i know.

My father is a fan (as he is of the other heavy weights science fiction authors of the era, like Arthur Clarke and Isaac Asimov). I think I only read some short stories.
Not long ago I tried watching the TV mini-series of "The Martian Chronicles" from 1980 but it was so bad that I couldn't finish it.

Fahrenheit 451. I liked the idea behind Something Wicked This Way Comes, but wasn't enthralled by it.

how do you rank all the sci-fi authors?. Oh jeez, that would be hard for me to do now. I haven't read anything from them in over 25 years. At the time I think Asimov was probably my favourite, followed by Heinlein and then Clarke.

Fahrenheit 451, also his collection of stories that inspired/were inspired by it, A Pleasure to Burn. I liked Something Wicked this way Comes, and the Halloween Tree, but I prefer the movies.
