I just got done watching a documentary on Jeffrey Dahmer. Maybe it's a bit of a stretch to call it a coincidence, but Dahmer lived in apartment number 273 and the forbidden hotel room in The Shining is 237. It was a semi-cool discovery. That's all.

Somebody told me Jeffrey Dahmer looks like Joey Lauren Adams who I like very much. What gives. Regardless, it was Kevin Smith accompanied by Eli Roth who paid tribute to Chris Jericho this past week as he celebrated 30 years at the top of the wrestling business and that should at least count for something.

That is interesting and not at all a coincidence or a semi-coincidence. The latter isn't even a thing as far as I'm concerned. Something is either or a coincidence or it isn't.
If Jeffrey Dahmer had killed his wife and son before the movie was released and nobody had access to this information besides the police, then I'd say that was a very strange coincidence even with the numbers switched around.

My point is that nothing he did fits with The Shining in any specific way and therefor his room number is not coincidental to anything about The Shining. If his room number was 237 then I would be more intrigued. Yes, I misread semi-cool coincidence as semi-coincidence. My mistake.
