Interesting win last night for the Rockets over the Bulls
Cousins -
14 points 5 rebounds
Wall -
13 points 5 rebounds 9 assists in just 19 minutes
They'd have a decent squad with Harden

Giannis smashed in the eye with an elbow 3 1/2 minutes into the season. Walked off with a lot of blood on the towel.

Srsly though, I'm glad the Raps passed on Ibaka & Gasol, they'd get old quick & this core hasn't time for that.

Wouldn't do Simmons for Harden straight up.

Completely agreed
He's a 24 year old All-Star and can play anywhere on the court defensively 1-5
A great defender and an elite passer in transition.
You need to surround him with the right pieces - i.e. players who can space the floor and shoot - they failed to do that last year and seem to be on the path of trying to rectify that
Can't wait to see Curry play with him this year
Seth is #2 All-Time in 3PT FG%
Hoping he can bring to the table what Redick did a couple of years back as far as Dribble Hand Offs with Embiid behind the 3 PT line.
I think it's one of the reasons Embiid played 'depressed' last year with horrible body language - not only did he miss Butler - but Redick as well
Redick was getting roasted on defense; but was a tremendous shooter/floor spacer and the Sixers missed that desperately last year.

Even though I expected Giannis to sign the suoermax extension, I can’t help but feel weird seeing a player of his caliber sticking with the team that drafted him even though he didn’t win any championships with them. Other players would’ve definitely skipped town and joined their buddies to create a super team in LA, San Fran, or Miami...
Glad we still got players in the league who don’t feel like taking the easy road to get chips.

Great for Giannis and he deserves it but I find him to be overrated who is a playoff choker.
This Bucks team aren't winning shit. They're not a playoff team.

Celtics at Sixers - 7:30pm TNT Go Tatum! Had to settle for him and Booker in the draft as I was saddled with the 10th pick.

That's a pretty decent tandem
I cannot wait to see what Booker looks like playing next to CP3

Yeah, I saw Tatum going way earlier in some mocks, but with the 10th/11th picks they were really my only options unless I wanted to risk "rest" time with Kawhi, KD, or LeBron. My favorite would have been a 4-6 pick, and getting Embiid in the second round. Just wasn't meant to be.

Sixers absolutely obliterate the Celtics
Great game by Shake Milton and a very nice solid impressive debut from #21 pick in the draft Tyrese Maxey

ESPN top 10
The first two were college plays over the past week, but I'll pose these Qs here.
Should it be the number 2 play if a player blocks a shot hard into the stands when the ball was obviously on the way down at regular speed, and really obviously in slo-mo, but goaltending wasn't called?
Should it be the number 1 play if a player chases down a shot, blocks it off the backboard, but you can see that a trailing player follows and puts the ball in easily?
Should it be a top 10 play when a guy should obviously be called for a charge when he posterizes a dude who has done everything right but doesn't get the call, or the defender is wrongly called for a blocking foul?
Shgould a slow breakaway dunk with no defenders be a top play when it's just a defensive breakdown or a fluke that gets the guy out in front, and would get a 7 or 8 in a dunk contest?
