Sixers at Nets tonight 7:30pm Looking to go 8-1 No Kevin Durant tonight; however this could very easily be loss #2 - 2nd of a Back to Back game on the road - after a tough exhausting game last night Expecting some tired legs tonight resulting on some tired shots - i.e. shots short off the rim as opposed to shooting lights out Lets see what happens with the #1 team currently in the NBA tonight Would be shocked if Jo-Jo plays Kyrie out. "Personal" reasons. My TV broke. How much did the best team in the league beat the Kyrie-less, Durant-less Nets?

Back to back games with the 2nd on the road are tough ones
Tired weary legs after an exhausting marathon of a game the previous night
Steph Curry was out - was on the bench with Covid - and now the whole team is in quarantine up in New York

Like I said. They need to play Chris Boucher more.

Per Woj - Sixers have been cleared to play today Nuggets at Sixers - 3pm Sixers only have 9 players available - the rest are in Covid Protocol Talk about playing against all odds We could be looking at 7-3 after playing the vaunted Nuggets as were shorthanded and down multiple weapons What an uphill battle Let's see what we can do

7 players available, Dwight to play point guard. I read we're up to 9
I'm actually looking forward to seeing the young kids get a lot of playing time
Maxey, Joe, Reed, Mathias, Bradley

Now I'm hearing it is 7 players - I thought NBA protocol was at least 8 needed to dress

OK - Mike Scott is the 8th 'available' player but Doc stated there's no way he's going to play him since he's hurt

OK - Mike Scott is the 8th 'available' player but Doc stated there's no way he's going to play him since he's hurt Doc is whining about how this game shouldn't be played, but here's the crazy thing, both of the resident Sixers "leaders", Embiid and Simmons, have boo boos and can't play either. Embiid has back stiffness and Simmons has knee stiffness, and what do you know, are being coddled like 4-year olds would. So what is Doc complaining about exactly? If the Sixers can't put a team out there, maybe the game should be forfeited to the Nuggets.

I don't care if we get smoked by 40
This is valuable playing time for Joe, Maxey, Reed, Mathias - all rooks
Will work wonders for their confidence down the line
I like what I'm seeing

Extremely Happy Beyond words #21 pick in the Draft - Tyrese Maxey - 39 points Valuable playing time for other rooks as well - Isaiah Joe - 45 minutes Dakota Mathias - 41 minutes Paul Reed - 26 minutes And Tony Bradley got some playing time - 24 minutes This is why I had no problem with Doug Pederson doing what he did in the Eagles final game - these players need to get some valuable playing time - comes in handy when the games are meaningful down the line
