Per Shams,
Elton Brand has signed a Multi-Year extension to remain Sixers GM
I'm fine with it - he's Morey's puppet now. Morey is pulling the strings - Brand is just a puppet and a face who has strong relationships with players - he's there to try and attract Free Agents. He'll be getting Morey coffee all day and his strings will be pulled by Morey on what and what not to do

The Process continues.......
Either take Harden from us and give him chance to win a ring or give us Embiid for Broadie and give us chance to win.

For Harden
Both Teams mix and match slop to make salaries work

That trade offer would get the phone slammed on you. "Would you take all of the large and multi year contracts we don't want, a not very good young guy, and a future 1st round pick that will be so late in the draft it might as well be a second round pick?" Not to mention you want to send $73 million in exchange for Harden's $41 million. Now I know you never care about the logistics in your trade proposals, signified by your classic "exchange slop" line, but what you also have to account for is that the extra 32 million that Houston would take on in that trade goes against their actual cap that they are already $22 million over. The reason they can be $22 million over is because they have bird rights on Harden. They won't have those bird rights on any of the players you are sending them. Be realistic man!

We'd have to mix and match slop to make salaries work on both ends
We'll take a combination of Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker, Covington to make it work

....if they play hardball we'll throw in Zhaire Smith - the 16th pick of the 2018 Draft
If not - I'm walking away from the table....

Rufus-TAs a Nets fan how do you feel about D'antoni being the assistant of Nash? Will that combo work?

I'm betting they implode - but it's going to be must see TV

Yes, I know Durant is the second best player of our times after LeBron and I know how awesome his stats are. But I doubt if he has it in him to win a ring by himself. Golden state victories came because of a very deep team. Durant failed with OKC and especially that 3-1 lead disaster is hard to forget. Kyrie as good as he may be to watch when he is playing well may throw a lot of tantrums. Exciting? Yes, surely. Their support cast is good too. Especially Dinwiddie. But they have to prove that they can win.

Yeah - he's a legend - as a player
Guy has like '0' coaching experience
I'm betting KD/Kyrie completely disrespect him - don't listen to him - I can't wait to watch them this year
In all of sports - KD/Kyrie are my 2 most disliked players - going to be great theater

Rufus-T As a Nets fan how do you feel about D'antoni being the assistant of Nash? Will that combo work? With the synergy of the two guys who focus very much on running down the court, I don't see much defense. Hope they can out slug their opponent. At least there will be excitement with this team. I miss watching the those great grinding defensive team of the 90s (Knicks, Heat, Bulls, Pacers) and the Pistons in the 00s. Low score, but exciting.

The Dallas Cowboys get a lot of attention too. This is exactly my point
We're pretty much the Dallas Cowboys at this point - a team that attracts a great deal of attention win or lose - a lightning rod so to speak
People just can't stop talking about us.
Hello People! The Lakers and LeBron won the Title this year!
Not us!
