The Celtics have the All-Stars, the Knicks have the heart. I am sensing the same comparing the 2 teams in NY. The Nets just waits for the star players to make the play. The Knicks has a lot more team work, and exciting ball passing. I attribute that style to the coach. Thibodeau's Bulls played very similar. Thibs has got D. Rose with him again too
D. Rose is a great story (besides the gang rape situation)
Once one of the greatest in the league - horrible injuries - everybody thought he was done - for years and years he's managed to hold on and still be a very valuable contributor

Warriors up 17 on the Grizz going into the 4th, appear to be locking up the 8 seed.

At least the loser gets a second chance vs. the winner of 9/10

Rose is redeeming himself a bit coming off the bench. He needs to stay healthy.

Well, 2020-21 Toronto Raptors now have the NBA record 10 different players score 30 points in a game. Not sure if it's crazy because a shortened season, or that they've cleared the record by 2. I'm exhausted with this Raptors season. Read a rumor a couple of weeks back involving Lowry
Instead of him just walking Free Agency (probably to Miami) - rumors were swirling there could be a 'Sign and Trade'
At least you'd get something for him
Unless the plan is to try and re-ink him; I thought it was a foregone conclusion he was gone though and moving on
I just don't comprehend letting him walk for nothing which is why I was shocked he wasn't dealt at the deadline.....
He's not even playing games right now. Trade him for youth or bigs or picks or both.

He's not even playing games right now. Trade him for youth or bigs or picks or both. Could have gotten a nice little package at the deadline
Now they've missed the playoffs, and he walks and they get nothing, unless that sign and trade is actually happening, or he rots on the bench in Toronto signing a new contract retiring there (I thought they were going to turn the page)
I don't get it - those packages at the deadline made the most sense to me
His preferred destination was Miami. If he just walks after this year I'd be ticked if I was a Raptors fan after you could have gotten assets at the deadline.

Why am I getting a weird feeling that the Warriors are going choke in these play-in games? They seem to get nervous in important games.

Choke? Overachieving 39-33, no Oubre, no Wiseman, no Klay, was talk about them maybe tanking a month ago, haven't played well against the Lakers who are likely only going to be missing Schröder.
But, yeah, if Memphis or San Antonio knock em out with a 2nd loss, that might be a bit of one.

Rap against him has always been he's a bit of a dog with no heart
I always thought he would have made a nice 4th banana - obviously never the superstar he was expected to be - or a 'Robin' to a 'Batman' - but a valuable contributor if in the right spot
I was intrigued with him playing with Steph, Klay and Draymond

Bradley Beal states hamstring won't be 100% vs. the Celts Hoping for a Celts loss
So they can win the 2nd and get the 8th seed
Wiz then get in and would play the Nets
Beal/Westbrook vs. Kyrie/KD/Harden sounds kind of fun for a 1st round matchup

And then there's massive upheaval in the offseason like the firing of Stephens and blowing up the team by Ainge -
I want no complaining that Brown was injured this playoff season
Remember - Ben was out last year for us when we played you
It's pretty much the same situation; well not really - Ben is a generational talent that we were missing

Brown and Tatum are both soft players and shitty leaders. I'm all for a complete blowup at this point. No team with Tatum as its star will ever win anything unless they can make a super team with two more established stars. The Celtics as constructed aren't going anywhere, and Ainge might be the first head to roll. Oh, and Simmons and Embiid were both playing in 2018 when the Celtics whipped them 4-1 in the conference semis.

Shame on them
How embarrassing
