I'm surprised Milwaukee beat Brooklyn. I kinda felt the same way about Milwaukee as I did about the Jazz. As in "didn't have the right stuff to go far in the post season". I wonder if the Nets and their fans regret the Harden trade
They didn't even make the ECF
He's going to be 32 when the season starts and was constantly hurt and looked fat
I think they gave up 4 players, 3 1st Round Pick and 4 pick swaps (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)
Looking at his stats last night he was 5-17 FG and 2-12 3PT FG
Oof

Durant tried to do everything himself, a mistake in the final possession. Joe Harris, get him out of Brooklyn! Wasn't he a free agent last year and the Nets just signed him to a somewhat large contract or am I off?
I was hoping the Sixers would have nabbed him for his shooting
Whenever the TV showed his face close up, he was sweating with a Fear the Deer look. The shooting was awful. He doesn't defend well. I don't understand why Nash kept him on the floor almost the whole game. Game 5, the turn around when Shamet was put on the floor instead of him. Joe had a chance to redeem in the last minute with a 3, but missed it. He is not the same Joe Harris from a couple years back.
That said, Buck is more than Giannis. Meddleton and Tucker were great. They are more a team unlike the Nets basically Durant and not much else.
Well, good luck to the Sixers tonight. Don't underestimate the Hawks. Very dangerous team.

The last game Doc Rivers figured out that the Hawks were exploiting the laughingstock Ben Simmons and benched him for Maxey. This proved to be a big difference, as literally everyone except Doc Rivers knew it would be. Hopefully the Hawks adjust and play accordingly. We've already won twice in Philly and Trae loves being the villain.

I'm disappointed in Shamet
I loved his shooting when he was here as a rookie
Hated to give him up
But this is his 3rd team now
He only got 7 minutes of run last night and got 0 points
I'm assuming one of the reasons we were so quick to give him up (he was part of the Harris package) and one of the reasons he didn't last long on the Clippers is because of his defense where he used to get roasted. I don't watch Nets games but I'm assuming it's one of the reasons he doesn't get a lot of playing time - more like a role player off the bench for his 3 point shooting

Great. Just when I may root for the Clippers to finally win a championship I found out they have Demarcus Cousins.
Just great.

He's so fun to watch
When people have talked about trading either Simmons or Embiid in past years he's one of the few I think about
Not a very good defender though.....

If the 76ers lose to the Hawks, was the process a complete and total waste and a failure?
The last few postseasons they've had believable excuses. But as the 1 seed losing to a young 5 seed?
Yikes

Yikes It's not even Trae Young carrying the game tonight. It's Heurter and Collins as Trae has a hurt shoulder. This is fantastic basketball.

He either has to take less shots or make more. Right now he's taking more and making less.

Trae Young is very sloppy, yet Hawks is leading. Very exciting game so far.

Trae Young is very sloppy, yet Hawks is leading. Very exciting game so far. Part of the strategy that the Hawks are using. This is some great coaching. They are trusting Heurter to be the playmaker (like I said in my thread about the Hawks going to the finals that you referenced), and it is paying off. Ice Trae still has 8 assists and he s well rested for the 4th.

Is Trae Young throwing the game? Did frogs kidnap his dad at 2 in the morning?
Is that why he's trying to get his second technical?

Ah yes, the second round exit.
A Doc Rivers classic.
