I think I picked New Orleans in the pick ‘em, but the way this week has gone...

Chargers, of course.
What's this stat I saw, my boy Justin Hebert is the first QB to make 3 of his first 4 NFL starts against former MVP quarterbacks. (Mahomes, Brady, Brees) Definitely no baby steps here.

Chargers on the board first, scoring on an excellent pass by Herbert to Allen, missed XP, 6-0 Chargers.

I don’t think it was smart to put in Taysom Hill on that 3rd down, we all knew what was coming.

Millar, you got yourself another quarterback. Wrote that after the bomb but before the TD.

Herbert with his second TD pass, and the Chargers lead it 13-3. Saints forced to punt again. Saints look lifeless on offense once again, without Thomas they just struggle to get anything going, they really need to try to get their other receivers involved more, it shows how much of their offense revolves around Thomas.

Absolutely horrible INT by Brees there, and the Chargers have a 1st and goal. Just a horrible read and throw by Brees there.

Saints can't cover a tight end to save their lives.

The Saints look totally out of sync on offense, they have no rhythm and no momentum, they just cannot move the ball downfield at all, Brees looks frustrated, and it’s just ugly to watch.

Saints looked totally different on that drive - they were throwing the ball down the field, Brees didn’t look rattled, they got Sanders involved which is big because he’s their top WR without Thomas, they were efficient and looked much better.

Why do the Saints have to choose between a ten second runoff, and a time out?

Why do the Saints have to choose between a ten second runoff, and a time out? That’s the rule when there is a review after the 2 minute warning I believe. It’s because the clock would’ve been running if the play had been called correctly the first time around, so they either take 10 seconds off the clock or a TO is called.

It's the referee's fault they didn't call the play right. Why are the Saints penalized? What are they supposed to do? Tell the referees, "No, it wasn't a touchdown." ??

I just explained it to you, the Saints weren’t penalized, it’s how the rules work, the clock would’ve been running if they called the play correctly so when they did get the call right they take off 10 seconds to make up for the time that should’ve come off the clock. Don’t like the rule, write to the league. Or file a lawsuit like you Saints fans love to do.
