Ever made?
Boring plot, constant exposition, bland cinematography, and with the exception of Ian McKellen, the actors look bored as hell. Hans Zimmer’s score was great though.
Maybe someone could have given this story style and energy but Ron Howard (who I do like) wasn’t that person
Angels & Demons was better though

There was probably some producer or who knows maybe Ron Howard himself that was thinking "Hey people this is important. Stop laughing and take this seriously. We could change history here."

Out Of Africa (1985). That movie can cure the worst insomnia.

I like the movie.
I think it is an interesting mystery and I always enjoy religious themed thrillers. The locations, Paul Bettany's performance and Hans Zimmer's score carry the movie a great deal. It is a well paced and suspenseful movie. The self-flagellation scene is very effective.
Angels & Demons is the more bland of the two imo.

Not the most dull movie, but possibly the most dull "thriller".

It's up (or down) there.

The high point of the movie for me was learning that a certain nation's regime (and reliable cinematic villain) appropriated a Buddhist symbol.

I gave each movie in the trilogy a 6/10. Yes, I know that's a 666, but I swear it's a coincidence.

I liked the movie. The most boring movie I ever saw was The Blair Witch Project.

Not really Tom Hanks has never been action hero material but it's okay. It's the Indiana Jones of the religious genre. The endings always deliver.

Most boring ever? Chariots of Fire would like to have a long-winded word with you.

I feel like if I hadn’t read the book first, I’d have found this to be very boring. I agree though the movie shouldn’t have been boring to people who never read the book. The book was actually very exciting to read.
