Still have yet to see any of the movies. Any good? I hadn’t seen the very first one. But the rest are good, and Fury Road is awesome.

I like all 3 of these actors, but I kinda feel that the studio is missing the point of why people loved Furiosa in the first place. They didn't like the character itself, they like Theron's depiction of the caharacter... which I believe they're failing to capitalize on.
Still, I like Anya and am excited to see both Hemsworth and Yahya in the movie so I'll probably watch it.

Still have yet to see any of the movies. Any good? "Mad Max Fury Road" is without a doubt one of the top action movies of the century so far. As for the earlier ones, the first is OK, the second is pretty good, and the third is a bit too silly (but still enjoyable, IMO)

The only real decent Mad Max is Mad Max 2 - 82', aka The Road Warrior. "There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away. Give me your pump, the oil, the gasoline, and the whole compound, and I'll spare your lives. Just walk away and we'll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror."

Meh. Always thought Fury Road was overrated. Yeah! As in best picture of the year nominee too... It was for the woke liberal Hollywarped crowd to drool over. Honestly I didn’t find it woke. I just didn’t see what people liked about it.

Filming begins in 2022. George Miller returns to direct while Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth are playing the leads.

I always find characters' backstories interesting... but I have to agree, I think the big appeal was C.T. herself, not entirely the character. [Go ask a lot of the people who watched THE OLD GUARD on Netflix last year, a good number are going to say Theron playing a butt-kicking, axe-wielding immortal, was a huge reason they gave it a shot]

Mad Max Fury Road went too woke to showcase Furiosa. The only real decent Mad Max is Mad Max 2 - 82', aka The Road Warrior. I don't think it was woke. In fact, I think Furiosa is one of the few female action characters we got in recent years that didn't feel like she was promoting any agenda. However, I do think part of the reason that this movie became overrated was due to a number of people (and critics) seeing a badass female character and immediately raising their scores a notch or two.

It's a pity Theron won't be reprising her role, but I'm wondering why Anna is dressed like she has strayed from the set of The Handmaid's Tale.

Fury Road set a high bar, ATJ has done well selecting scripts and is a good actress, so I'm open to it.

Love Anya, but this should be a Charlize sequel, not an Anya prequel. And it should be directed by Miller, not some other guy. Also I think it sucks a little that Hemsworth is in it because he'll steal her thunder (no pun intended). Ah, who am I kidding? I'm going to see it. Anya with a shaved head in the post apocalypse. Whats not to love? EDIT: Wait, is Miller directing after all?
