Yep, a hack not qualified for sci fi/fantasy. Oh, so he's a "hack" for not directing a children's space film the way you intended. Does this mean that hack Francis Ford Coppola was not qualified for "Jack", hack David Lynch was not qualified for "Dune" etc. You really are a fucking retard. Dune and Jack BOMBED at the box office and neither was nominated for Best Picture. Star Wars 1977 was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar by ADULTS who know quality film making. As much as I think the OP is a clown, I don’t know if “this is a children’s film” is really the best thing to bring up. Yes, Star Wars movies are meant to appeal to children, hence all the toys and Lego tie-ins, but one of the criticisms I’ve seen directed towards TLJ is how overly cynical and mean-spirited it is for a Star Wars film.

The rumors before Ep. 8 was that in the final act, Luke was taking on multiple Sith by himself but then we ended up with the garbage from Rian-Kennedy.
