heh. Finally getting around to watching the last season. It sucked. Up until episode 9 or 10. Then it got really, really good.

I stopped at the start of the newest season but Im glad to find out it's ending with the next one. Guess Ill finish it now, might as well

I stopped watching after they killed the Governor. I got tired of only getting two good episodes per season.

Yeah that might be a good season to end it with. Went on far too long. I cant remember, was the governor before or after the cannibals? Before I think. The season where the Governor was killed ended up with Rick and the rest of the group getting captured by cannibals. Ok end it with those guys then

The whole "the world is brutal but we are not" theme just got played out. |

Yeah it dropped off when they settled in Alexandria and the show became less about survival and more about politics in the post zombie world. The whole "the world is brutal but we are not" theme just got played out. And the second spin-off show with teenagers looks even worse. I remember when TWD was suspenseful. Now it’s basically a soap opera with a lotta gore. |

The Governor was the best villain by far, but after that the series wasn't as good as it had been. Then came Negan who I thought was a pretty good villain, but after Negan everything went downhill fast.

I've never understood the thinking behind the 'let's make love, not war' themes that a lot of post-apocalyptic shows/films have. I particularly don't like it when they have kids in leading roles, supposedly showing the adults how to behave.

I never bought the romance between her and the doc, or now, her and the priest. They never had any sort of charisma together. She deserves better.

When Andrew Lincoln left the show, the show was done at that point. They should have simply asked him to stay for a few more episodes and wrapped up the show with him still there. The show did go on for far too long.
