Really obvious and boring list, all easy targets. I'm surprised they missed Gigli and Pluto Nash.

I can watch several movies on that list no problem. There have to be worse films out there.

Once the shock value is gone, Caligula isn't that bad. And I found Serenity legitimately fascinating to watch. I saw only six others from the list and they're all disposable.

I agree with some of them and disagree with others.
Jaws the Revenge and Meet the Spartans really are THAT bad imo.

Caligula is a weird entry to that list, since they were otherwise obviously going for an easy list of quite recent films that almost everybody has at least heard of. I guess that someone just wanted to include one "morally objectionable" film for whatever weird reason.

Some of those movies, while not good, I wouldn't list as the worst movies ever made.

I have only seen 6 of those movies.
Wild Wild West Caligula (1979) The Haunting (1999) Speed 2: Cruise Control Meet the Spartans Batman & Robin
The only two i would rank among my 20 worst films are Speed 2:Cruice Control and Caligula, the rest while not good movies i would not rank them at among the 20 worst films that i have seen.

No list of worst films is complete without Freddy Got Fingered.

Can you please provide the link where you found this list? Caligula is a weird entry to that list, since they were otherwise obviously going for an easy list of quite recent films that almost everybody has at least heard of. I guess that someone just wanted to include one "morally objectionable" film for whatever weird reason. If they hadn't added it, someone else would've complained that the list has no old movies. Also, CALIGULA isn't the only morally objectionable film on the list.

They should include more pretentious artsier films like the movie that's just a hue of the color blue or Andy Warhol's Empire which is just slowed down footage of the Empire State Building. And animation is capable of being bad in ways live action can't. Foodfight is nightmarishly poorly put together from both a visual and a plot perspective. Anything from Hansel and Gretel an Opera Fantasy(I know there's at least one fan who'd disagree with me) to Ribbit could make the list.

I've seen them all except Cats, Serenity or Caligula. I own Jaws: The Revenge, The Love Guru, Catwoman and Swept Away on DVD. Some of these are real stinkers, most just fall under "guilty pleasures." There are much, much, much worse movies out there that society needs to be warned about.

"Manos: Hands of Fate" -- It 100% deserves its reputation. 2. "Raging Bull" 3. "Crazy Fat Ethel: Criminally Insane 2" 4. "Murder on the Orient Express" (the remake) 5. "Fargo" 6. "Chaos" (vile ripoff of Last House on the Left) 7. "The Matrix" 8. "Dancer in the Dark" 9. "Jaws 4" 10. "Magnolia" 11. "Hostel 2" 12. "Avatar" 13. "Inland Empire" 14. "Lenny" 15. "Leaving Las Vegas" 16. "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" 17. "Dirty Rotten Shame" 18. "Murder Mystery" (I like Jennifer Aniston, but this is dreadful.) 19. "The Devil's Rejects" 20. Of those I have seen (and some I do have in my movie collection) and rated:
Wild Wild West (1999) - Hm, well, it seems like neither my Letterboxd or IMDb count have any ratings of it, but I know that I have seen it several times over, but it must have been so long since, that it was before I decided to use IMDb. Still, I am pretty sure it would end up somewhere between 4,5/10 and 5,5/10.
The Wicker Man (2006) - I went in, fully "expecting" something that was to be as "hilarously" bad as Troll 2 or similar kind of beloved "best-worst" titles, or at least of what I had heard or read from so many people. Still, I did not think it was all that horrible, but nowhere near campy b-movie fun either. Just, below average or forgettable DTV stuff from Cage, who have done far much worse movies by the way. 4/10
Jaws: The Revenge (1987) - I have always liked this one, as well as with several other Caine horror-thrillers of the 80s (Dressed to Kill, The Island and The Hand), and I would have liked several more Jaws movies, more hilarious and over-the-top than the other. Again, a movie that is this enjoyable and fun, have no place in a list of "worst movies" of all time, or at least that is how I feel. 6/10
The Haunting (1999) - Saw it last night. Mediocre (at best) and which stars a sexy as hell Catherine Zeta-Jones and, well, I have sadly wasted time and money on seeing hundreds of horror films that is so bad, that I would not let even my worst enemy (if had one) sit through them, as they are just absolutely unwatachble, and a movie (even if it might be a poor one) is still nowwhere near unwatachable as it contains Zeta-Jones. 5/10
Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) - Hell, I enjoyed it much more than the first one, which I just thought was a complete letdown, yet the over-the-top sequel, at least was a fun watch, and one I would gladly see several times, instead of the original. 6/10
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) - Far more enjoyable and fun than the awful third film, which still would not be a worthy contender to end up on a list of the all time worst films I have seen. 6/10
Striptease (1996) - 6/10
Battlefield Earth (2000) - 3/10
Catwoman (2004) - 3/10
Batman & Robin (1997) - 6/10
All in all, of these notorious "great" films, none would be even close to a 1/10 rating on my part, as very few movies I have seen have thankfully succeeded in doing so. But the ones who did, were so beyond awful, boring and painful experiences, that I would gladly sit through days after days watching stuff like Battlefield Earth over, than watching another second of the ones that ended up in my all time worst list, which is just too depressing to bring up for now.

"Salo: 120 Days of Sodom" I have seen 13 on your list Mr. Dirty. I like some of those, but I can understand why you have them in there from previous discussions and what some represent to you. I do really like Hostel 2 and The Devil’s Rejects. I also have a soft spot for Dancer In The Dark, which I find incredibly moving and connecting, despite Selma’s motivation for not speaking out. Magnolia I find an interesting watch too, if a little self-reverential and self-indulgent. I find it an interesting watch, plus Melinda Dillon is in it. TCM2, I do find a chore to get into. It’s so bizarre and deranged, but stylistically it does work for me overall. I have Lenny on DVD, but haven’t seen yet. Hard to find title here that is why I bought it. It doesn’t really look that appealing. What is Dirty Rotten Shame? I can’t find it in IMDB. Do you mean A Dirty Shame by John Waters?
