Art - though I'm not sure in what form. Painting is something I've never excelled at but would like to try again. Perhaps oil paint or water paint. I'd love to learn how to do stained glass. Make windows, or some of those lovely lampshades I've seen.

Lately, I've been dappling in learning more about opera. I've always loved ballet. And, a friend has drawn me into a small circle of his friends who are opera fans. I've dabbled in the presentations on YouTube, and some opera companies are presenting "virtual" seasons.

I want to study Latin, Italian and to relearn Japanese. Is there a reason why you want to learn Latin?

I think that Latin is cool. It is interesting, IMO.

Learning to read runes. I hear there’s a mystical component to them like I Ching or numerology and as I’m embracing my germanic heritage, I’m rather dubious of some of the websites as runes have been vulgarized by the neo-Nazis, so I signed up for a course that approaches them using literary theory. However, Covid-19 happened, so it was cancelled. paulslaugh

For me its paintings and artistic history. lovely topic. there is So Much. 1. Sign language. I have been learning it for 7 months now and can say/spell say what I need BUT my listening ability still sucks very much so I need to get better in that. 2. Muay Thai/Krav Maga. 3. I would love to le-rean ice skating. Did it fairly comfortably as a kid and the tried again a few years ago and it was a disaster. 4. I want to learn German and Japanese next. Together with English, French and Russian and some Spanish, that will cover me on all continents, should there be a crash of civilisation - I am fleeing to Japan first. 5. Physics and Chemistry. I forgot ALL i learned at school. And now I am actually interested. 6. I would like to pick up at least basics of one coding language, just to understand more about computers and IT. 7. Computer science in general - especialy around cryptography. 8. Editing. I need to advance my editing skills. And learn how to use Premiere instead of Final Cut which I use now. 9. Cinematic lighting - I need to learn more so I dont have to rely on others - not necessarily to be able to do the craft myself but to understand more when my DP is talking about it. 10. I would like to be able to pilot a small plane or a helicopter. Never tried it but think I would like it. 11. I want to improve my pole dancing skils and dancing in general. 12. I want to learn to be a better friend/daughter/wife/human being I feel like the list could go on forever...
