Sergio Agüero criticized after grabbing lineswoman’s shoulder during Premier League matchSoccer star Sergio Agüero received a raft of criticism after the Manchester City striker wrapped his hand around a lineswoman’s shoulder while arguing a call in a Premier League game on Saturday. The official, Sian Massey-Ellis, swatted Agüero away. During the game, a 1-0 win for Manchester City over Arsenal, Agüero received no booking for the incident. But he received plenty of red cards on the field of public opinion. On social media, many people expressed doubt that Aguero ever would have handled a male official in the same way. Rosena Allin-Khan, a lawmaker in the British Parliament, bluntly called out the 32-year-old Argentine athlete. “Who does Aguero think he is?” Allin-Khan tweeted. “Completely unacceptable.” In the Premier League, the touching of officials is a violation and can result in players receiving cards. Man City manager Pep Guardiola defended his player. “Come on guys. Sergio is the nicest person I ever met in my life,” he said, according to BBC Sport’s Simon Stone. “Look for problems in other situations, not in this one.” www.nydailynews.com/snyde/ny-sergio-aguero-permier-league-20201018-qf7edk42rbhy7mkin4w4xmjgnq-story.htmlSo do you think Aguero deserve criticism for grabbing the lineswoman`s shoulder? People may disagree with me, but i actually think its right to criticize him, because i think its very unlikely that he would have done the same thing if it was a man who was the assistant referee.

Women want to be treated as equals, unless the situation doesn't call for it, of course.
As with everything else involving women, you try and figure it out. I stopped doing that many years ago.

This is nothing to do with equality this is about the rules of the game, and i doubt Aguero would have done the same thing if it was a linesman. If this was about threating women the same as men, than Aguero would not have grabbed her shoulder, because i have seen probably seen close to 10.000 football games in my life and i have never seen anybody grabbing a linesman shoulder like that.

... i think its very unlikely that he would have done the same thing if it was a man who was the assistant referee. I don't watch soccer that often. Is that true? If true, the guy is an ass. If not, she should take it like a man.
