Are they certain that's not a fox? The experts appear to have concluded that it’s a cat but the ears do look a bit foxy.

I haven’t seen that one but there are a few other chalk horses horses scattered around the country and I used to see one of them from the train while going to Devon.

I'm just trying to figure out how a 5-year-old kid got up there and drew that? “It took me four years to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child” Picasso

“It took me four years to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child” PicassoSo you agree it looks like a child made it. Compare that to the White Horse of Uffington posted on this thread and tell me there isn't something else very evident here. Perhaps it was a recreation of an original smaller drawing the child did and the father and uncles went up on the hill and drew it bigger in the dirt because the child had been abducted by aliens.

Compare that to the White Horse of Uffington posted on this thread and tell me there isn't something else very evident here. If you look at it from an entirely artistic perspective it’s obviously not very good (I’d call it a doodle) but it’s received a lot of buzz because it looks like a cat and the internet loves cats. From my point of view the picture is interesting because it was hiding in plain sight and might even be an example of Pareidolia.

The first time I saw that I thought it was a modern fake. It's certainly very inferior to the Nazca drawings.

The first time I saw that I thought it was a modern fake. It's certainly very inferior to the Nazca drawings. The interest in the picture isn’t anything to do with artistic merit. I was wondering if at the time it was regarded as a failure and their one consolation was that at least nobody’s going to see it.
