There's a certain team out there who had the best home court record in the league last year. All they would have done in each series was steal one game on the road per series and it was all she wrote. These playoffs and Finals were more like a carnival/circus - cute lil event to try to bring some revenue in - wouldn't have surprised me if they had rules like OT's consisted of who could make the most half court shots, who could have scored the most points blindfolded in OT, etc But congrats to the Lakers - they did what they needed to do - kind of reminded me of those cute lil NCAA Basketball Tourney's we get at the beginning of the year - like the Maui Invitational, The Alaska Shootout, etc etc where a select few teams are invited to play... They got swept on a neutral court, how would they have won a road game? Completely different atmosphere playing in a hostile environment.
Some teams use that as energy to catapult them to victory.
This was the equivalent to playing in a morgue.

Or at least an OR, especially when Embiid or Simmons are involved.

Is it any different from a shortened season due to strike.

Is it any different from a shortened season due to strike. As well perhaps.

Well I myself do indeed think that it counts (to be completely honest though, I am also a Lakers Fan) but I do know that there are a lot of other people out who feel that it either should not count or it should count but with an asterisk next to it because of how the season went down, the long break that happened, and the fact that the location of both the remainder of the season and the entire NBA Playoffs took place inside of the NBA Bubble.
It's no different than a strike shortened year. There were different things going on this season but they made it work and had a season albeit shorter. Sucked that that Lakers won it, I'm more perturbed that players just change teams every couple years and collude to make super teams like Lebron does everywhere he goes.
