I really enjoyed it. It has a steady atmosphere of dread pretty much from beginning to end. Pellington directed this really well.
Thoughts on this one?

Agreed. I saw it and liked it very much. Good dialogue. A well-made film.

I've seen it but can't remember it. Seems like it's having a resurgence so I might want to revisit it. Mark Pellington also directed the underrated Arlington Road, another sinister little story that impressed me. He doesn't seem interested in capitalizing on his movie directing success, he continues to direct music videos and TV.

Excellent supernatural thriller.
There is a bitter irony to the movie considering that director Mark Pellington would later lose his own wife in a similar fashion like Richard Gere's character in the movie.

I love it! Love the cast, love the pacing, love the atmosphere - and those last scenes . . . . !! It all come together very well!

Watched this years ago. Iβm honestly not quite sure what exactly the movie was about but I still remember rolling it. I should give it a rewatch
