I saw this for the first several years ago. A powerful film with a message that needs to be heard.
Also a solid first movie for a director.

Sorry, hi224, but I must be one of the few posters here without telepathic powers. Do you mean Black Girl (1966) dir: Ousmane Sembene or Black Girl (1972) dir: Ossie Davis?
The former is a classic, but the latter is also worth a watch.
