Good thing I took that fast-read course last year -- it sure helped going through those 200 novels over the past three days.
-- The two Jacqueline Susann books did slow me down, though
-- like Ensign Pulver with 'God's Little Acre' in MISTER ROBERTS I kept re-reading certain passages
-- and several times noting in the margins .. 'well written!'

Thank you for this wonderful sprawling epic of a Game, Matt. I’m so glad that I got to play. I guess it’s only fitting that, being this close to Halloween, someone named Spider should win. Yay, Spider!
p.s. I spent way too much time trying to match Mary Ure with another Alistair MacLean actress. Who in hell is A.E.W. Mason?
