replicating his style?
I feel like Bob Fosse's All That Jazz came pretty close at times.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer, felt pretty close IMO.
Creepy (Kiyoshi Kurosawa, 2016) did, stylistically at least
The Neon Demon felt like a Kubrick/Lynch hybrid

Isn't that what "A.I." is all about? Spielberg trying to duplicate Kubrick's style as much as he could?

I agree with the mentions of The Killing of a Sacred Deer and There Will Be Blood. I also feel like Phantom Thread has a Kubrick like feel to it.

The look of that shot of the bowling alley when he says “I’m finished” is SO Kubrick.

The look of that shot of the bowling alley when he says “I’m finished” is SO Kubrick. Fully agree. If that scene faded and 'directed by Stanley Kubrick' appeared... I would have believed he arose from the dead. That was a tribute or a pull. Good film regardless.

The opening of There Will Be Blood really reminded me more of the Iraq scenes in The Exorcist than anything else.

I don't know about any particular film, but David Cronenberg's are cold and clinical, just as Kubrick's films are cold and clinical.
Of course, Kubrick's film are stately, whereas Cronenberg's films are often low-down schlock. This is not meant to be a putdown of Cronenberg.

AI: Artificial Intelligence: it was his project. Hal Ashby's "Being There". An underappreciated classic satirical comedy

All his work is obviously influenced by Kubrick. I just thought Sacred Deer was the best example. The excessive use of the fish eye was one of the minor flaws of The Favourite. It was used to the point of exhaustion and lost it's effectiveness, for me at least. Still a great film but my personal least "favourite" from him.
