Wait until it happens to a Saint - something tells me he won’t be rushing to say “it wasn’t dirty because he wasn’t looking.” I don’t even get what the “he wasn’t looking” reference even means. So the Football Team guy hits the sliding QB in the head, but it’s not dirty because he wasn’t looking? What the fuck is that then? I don’t know anything about the WFT guy, if he has a history of this or not. I think dirty goes with intent. The hit WAS illegal though and warranted ejection. As an aside, I'm never getting used to that.

They do now. And what does “looking” or not looking have to do with anything? Wait until it happens to a Saint - something tells me he won’t be rushing to say “it wasn’t dirty because he wasn’t looking.” This is the perfect thread for something like that to happen. Now I'm not looking for Brees to get concussed, and I can't stress that enough, but should he (and I don't want him to!) get knocked the fuck out by some guy throwing a shoulder into his head as he's sliding (hopefully not), *this* *thread* *will* *be* *referenced*.

Since I'm not a mind reader, I can't tell you for sure if he had malicious intent. Kind of looks like he did but hard to tell for sure. I still voted 'dirty hit' though, just based on how it looks...

If he thought he was making a tackle, he wouldn't be diving towards the ground. It's Andy Dalton. You know he's sliding there. Nobody actually thinks this guy was trying to make a tackle by diving towards the ground. The only thing that could possibly happen there is he hits his chest instead of his head. But that would still be dirty, too.

Definitely a dirty hit, Dalton was giving himself up and Bostic slid in late and hit him anyway. Definitely a dirty play that warranted ejection.

Football players go low when making a tackle. If you watch it closely, his head was down before or maybe at the same time Dalton started sliding. So, he might not have known Dalton was in the act of sliding. Either way, I still say it was a dirty hit. Simply because of the "possibility" that he knew Dalton was a vulnerable target either way.

I think he should have been penalized, been thrown out of the game, and ultimately gets a fine. But I don't think it's dirty. For me, dirty has to be with malice. Albert Haynesworth stepping on an offensive lineman's head is dirty. Myles Garrett swinging a helmet at Mason Rudolph's head is dirty. Vontez Burrfict forearm shivers to the heads of players are dirty. Bang-bang plays are a level less than that to me. Ndamukong Suh stomped on a Green Bay Packer's chest who was laying on the ground after a play. Ndamukong Suh is a lowlife cheap shotting sack of shit so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

I was just adding one more I remembered.

Very dirty. Bostic clearly targets him.
