Jays also apparently open to anyone/everyone in free agency. I think it'd be hilarious if Marcus Stroman strolled back here. Who in God's Name would want to play there
Are they still traveling bums without a home?
What do you do in that situation if you sign with them - live out of motels for a year?
Buy a little piece of property in Buffalo or Toronto or somewhere inbetween and keep your fingers crossed that's where you will be playing half your games?

This is somewhere in between

Phils President Andy MacPhail announces he will leave team after the '21 season. Blowback form Bryce Harper's bloated albatross deal?

Nope
He's 67 - 2 years past retirement date
Harper's one of the best players in baseball on an awesome deal
We'll win a few World Series with him
3, 4 maybe more

Bryce is Chris Davis 2.0. He got his pile of cash. Nothing more to play for. Watch his numbers sink.

Been numerous reports the Phillies are interested in a reunion with Charlie Morton
The Rays declined his $15 mil option
This dude is like 80 years old
I'll pass.

Indians declined the option on Brad Hand, making him a free agent. The starters market is pretty thin, but there are some really intriguing back-of-the-bullpen options floating around with Hand, Jeremy Jeffress and Jake Diekman available.

Braves are apparently interested in Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina, Jon Lester.
Wainwright would be a decent signing. Molina as a pure baseball signing too but I fucking hate that guy. Don't think I could find myself rooting for him.

Don't think I could find myself rooting for him. How dare you! Even though Yadier Molina (and Wainwright too) ended the Mets should-have-been championship season in 2006, he can play for my team any day. He's the definition of a guy who should be in the HOF in spite of his career numbers. His ability and his impact on every game transcends the scorecard. I bet if you took a straw poll of 100 big leaguers, they'd all vote for him to be inducted. Lester has been brutal the past 2 years, although I take 2020 with a grain of salt. The Mets suddenly have a disastrously thin rotation and they need innings eaters to shore that up. If they don't sign Realmuto, I hope they can land James McCann who has been solid the past 2 years and is looking for a new home.

Molina as I said from a baseball stand point would be a good signing depending on the contract of course. He is still a good catcher who is clutch in the post season. I just hate the guy and would find myself hard pressed to root for him until he delivered said clutch playoff performance then id probably praise him. I dont know much about McCann as I rarely follow the AL but from what I remember he is a very good defensive catcher. He had a solid year this year. Im interested in bringing Travis d'Arnaud back back. Outside of his putrid playoff performance he was quite good for the Bravos.
