Disgraceful
No masks. No social distancing. Giant party - now they will be traveling back to their respective homes and families - and who knows who their family members will be around setting off a domino effect across the globe.....

You might say they’re “dodging” social distancing rules.

Abhorrent? Need to get your outrage meter recalibrated.

They will all be tested and will not leave Texas before they get the results. How are they putting you in jeopardy? Much better to be like SEC football where entire teams test positive but they don't tell anybody.

Who knows how many people they came across going back to the lockerroom before they were tested...and who knows how many people 'those' people have come across since....
This is my concern ....

The people they came in contact with were mostly family and Dodger staff, who had to live in the bubble just like the players and, they will have to be tested, just like the players, before they leave Texas.

Which is why social distancing and mask wearing is the way to go

Could get it just as easily by standing on first base while the first baseman was there. Every homer celebration could have that happen. You could have been horrified much earlier than this.

Wasn't my fault you didn't read those posts.
I've been an advocate for cancelling football and was crying foul about a player on 1st base standing next to the 1st baseman, the 1st base Ump, the 1st base coach, etc.
It's all about money. I'm a huge sports fan - but I think what these leagues are doing is irresponsible to the public.
Thought it was ridiculous MLB didn't mandate mask wearing.
Sincere apologies if you missed those posts.

Fair enough. We'll agree to disagree about what rises to the level of "abhorrent".

Fair enough. We'll agree to disagree about what rises to the level of "abhorrent". Abhorrent - 'inspiring disgust or loathing; repugnant'
During a worldwide health crisis where we've been asked to social distance and wear masks for the health, safety and wellbeing of our brothers and community - with over 200,000 American lives being lost and we still have no vaccine as our citizens are struggling to make due in today's world- yes - that's exactly what that above picture is to me.

You must be constantly bathing in disgust then. I see people congregating without masks outside twenty plus times a day.

I jog frequently.
9.4 miles this morning - absolutely appalling that I come across people on the trail who do not wear masks
Our Governor - Governor Wolf actually put out a mandate that masks were to be worn in public months ago. However it goes ignored by some of these dopes. Apparently it's all about them - their freedom. They couldn't care less about possibly passing it off to somebody else. Ignorant and selfish.
There's 2 towns by me who are doing the right thing - they're actually fining people now that they find in public without a mask. One town the fine is $300.

It's required outside? I live six blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Nobody wears a mask on the beach. Nobody. And we have less than a 3% positive rate for the month (last Wednesday there were 19,423 tests and only 1% positive rate). I wear a mask indoor in stores, as does everybody out here. But almost nobody wears a mask outside - - and San Diegans are always outside.

Completely different world out there.
I frequented California 5 times before on job interviews years ago - a lot more 'chill', 'laid back' - like a different world out there.
Here? 'Positives' are spiking like crazy. I live in a very populated area
People have 'Mask Fatigue' - they're tired of it.
My only hope is they don't get somebody else sick who may have a weaker immune system

If I was you, and I thank Jesus every day that I'm not btw, I would be a bit more concerned about all of your fellow Philadelphians who I saw "peacefully protesting" on the news last night. I happened to notice a bunch of your neighbors standing up for racial equality by looting a Best Buy, and to be honest, I wasn't seeing many folks wearing masks. In fact, it looked like nobody was masking it up or social distancing.
I'd be a bit more worried about that than the Dodgers.
