Unless something horrible specifically happens to her that causes her to turn into a megabitch like she is in the comics during Infinity War, she's set to develop into a completely different character if/when she steps into the spotlight. Meh. They should -- pardon the pun -- "phase" her out and go with our Tony Stark idea. I still like the idea of him as the sort of Grand Old Man of the MCU after all the dust settles. Honestly, I think we're going to have more than one Nick Fury equivalent after Infinity War. Doctor Strange the future Sorcerer Supreme, and King T'Challa/Black Panther are no slouches when it comes to having resources and being able to pull strings. I think that'll be for the best, if only to add more variety. Just having Tony Stark flitting in and out of movies as the new Proverbial Master Chessplayer could wear thin if overplayed. Marvel's been careful not to overplay Nick Fury, who's been absent since Avengers: Age of Ultron. And I just had a thought: during Fury's long absence, things have literally gone to Hell in a Handbasket for the Earth-based good guys. Yeah, that sounds about right. Without him there to bitchslap things into their proper working order, its all falling apart.

I think Tony would be good as head of SHIELD, triangulating with these other dudes.

Holy crap, did Marvel fail to make the Pro-Registration Side like the better deal when they were apparently supposed to be "the right side."

From 2006?

Honestly, they should have implemented a new rule after Civil War: "No more using stories with political angles as your personal mouthpiece about today's politics." What's scary is that Civil War is when it only STARTED getting bad. The true insanity hadn't even started yet.

Though it has been good for a few laughs, such as Bor's (Odin's dad) unsolicited opinions about Israel. WTF IS THIS?!

^Good Christ! (Pun intended.) I know, right? The comic book branch of Marvel actively seems to hate the roster of characters they've built up over the decades, as evidenced by the fact that they've spent the last decade or so screwing them all over by either demoting them to the sidekick of a character who takes their superhero identity or by just killing them off, or in Cap's case, by killing him, turning him old, turning him evil, and then turning him evil again. The sooner they just revert to the old lineup, the better.

At least that was rumored; not sure if they ever actually did that, but they prolly did.

I've learned the hard way not to think "No one's that stupid," for even a second regarding the topic. How they've kept the poison that is killing the comics out of the films, I don't know. I just hope they Feige keeps keeping it out.
