Do you use Twitch? Are you familiar with the subbing and donating process? How versed are you in the e-begging trend? Do you think what he is doing is unethical or illegal? Should people be allowed to tip content creators?

Eh, you do realize streamers/youtubers make most of their money from donations/patreon, right? If you have an issue with this then you would have to have an issue with pretty much all big name Youtubers/streamers who make most of their money though donations. Unless he's deceiving people, I don't really see the issue. Incidently their was a bit of a scandal with Josh Feurstein a few years ago (he's a fat Christian evangelical on Youtube) who raised money that was supposed to go to a really expensive fancy camera, but oddly enough all his videos still look they're filmed on an iphone. Go figure.

Go figure. I get you. I don't know what his employment or financial status is now, but I was under the impression that Jason Mewes was doing this as a hobby. Judging from the negative tone of the video, there is some ethical standard to be argued for if that were the case. Personally, If I was him and was doing this a hobby, I would be shocked if a fan give me that amount of money and would quickly refund the individual, or sensibly turn donations off from the beginning. I see that Twitch doesn't have a maximum allowance of how much you can donate. A Twitch streamer got a $75,000 dollar donation!!! www.notebookcheck.net/Twitch-Streamer-receives-donation-of-US-75-000-marking-a-new-record.394481.0.html
