Greatest horror scene ever is from a musical, and it is one of the songs: The final scene was incredibly unsettling as well, not to mention the ending credits. The idea of a musical of all things having its end credits roll in dead silence is very unnerving.

The Winky's diner scene in Mulholland Drive. My soul just about exited my body.

I've got a terrible memory these days so I'll just give a couple of animated examples. The Red Book from The Cat who Walked by Herself, Dinosaurs dying in Rite of Spring in Fantasia, and the opening of Son of the White Mare.

The Auschwitz scenes in Schindler's List were so chilling. Of course, the whole move was frightening. It was an awesome though, making the Auschwitz arrival at night. A dark movie gets even darker.
Either in 2021 or 2022, we are going to Europe and one of the stops is Auschwitz. And, to be honest, the thought scares the bejezzus out of me. But we are going.

The cinematography is amazing. Particularly as the guard lights peer through the slats of the cattle car.

The "Sloth" victim in Se7en
When the dog started talking to David Berkowitz in Summer of Sam (don't know why, but it creeped me out)

The failed bomb diffusing scene in Juggernaut. The shoe being dipped in Who Framed Roger Rabbit --there's something nightmarish about it. I was a teenager when I saw it--what little kids would have thought with that? It's like sticking a cat in a vat of acid.
Also the opening scene of Cliffhanger.
