The sun is still out as he players get the second half underway. It's quiet for the first three or four minutes but Chris Wilder will have instructed his troops to carry a lot more fire in their bellies.

McBurnie, or McBeernie, as Steve McManaman persists in pronouncing it, is too slow to meet Berge's ball - if he'd latched on to that it might have spelled danger for City.

Excellent build-up play from City as Walker keeps it this side of the by-line and screws it back in for De Bruyne but he can only fire it just wide. But Sheffield United are just not getting on to City. Walker was allowed the freedom of Sheffield just there.

Ramsgate again! This time pumping away the fierce drive from Mahrez on the hour. The keeper has kept the score at a minimum, nobody else.

Look at that on '65. You'd think Sheff U were 3 up at this speed. They're dilly-dallying around with it outside the City box, passing up chances to cross it in until City ultimately regain possession. They're lacking spark, lacking fire, lacking serious intent. Either that or they're trying to lure City in under pretension. Because here they are on '66 causing a bit of bother in the area which Dias and Ederson just about manage to see off.

Fair play to the Blades getting these chances. Don't change a thing Pep

United moving it about a bit more now with Basham pushing upfield. Here's Berge going past an absolutely listless Cancelo, he crosses one in and Lundstram comes close with the strike!

Bernado Silva with a chance to seal it on '84. He's one on one with Ramsdale but his shot is straight at the keeper and Ramsdale collects without drama.

Oliver blows up. United still can't repeat the form of last season, seriously lacking prowess up front. They stay 19th while City move up to 7th. Macmanaman goes for Rodrigo as Man of the Match and he's had a fair game but Ramsdale did almost everything that was asked of him and gets my - far more important - vote.
