i miss the FB in football
drives me nuts when i see teams lining up from the 1 yard line with an empty backfield in shotgun formation
it's why i love watching Army play football (haven't seen them this year though) - they run like 90% of the time in all sorts of formations

I'm old enough to remember when the shotgun was considered revolutionary. Only the Cowboys did it.

Bring back the Flying Wedge. to hell with that sissy Line of Scrimmage stuff  Defenses used to literally throw teammates into the wedge to try and stop it. Without helmets and pads. |
