With Sean Connery's passing, I've gotta watch this again. Highly underappreciated film.

Outland? Hadn’t seen it yet. But I guess I’ll give it a shot.

The use of Front Projection in that was really good. Works a lot more convincingly than rear projection. The doctor character was funny.

I remember loving it when it came out. I re-watched it for the first time a couple of years ago and still thought it was great. Sure, some of the technology is hopelessly outdated, but that didn't affect my enjoyment.

I guess I'll be the one to poop on the party, I thought it was only above average. Decent F/X for its time, but nothing earth-shattering. Predictable storyline and Peter Boyle was rather ineffective as the villain...all it took was one punch to take him out in the end. (Yeah, I know in typical bully fashion he employed goons, but he still never came across as particularly threatening to me). 6/10

Love OUtland, feels like part of the Alien universe I've only seen it once, but I thought the same thing when I viewed it. It'd fit in nicely with that universe.
