First Son is a loser. He doesn’t have what it takes to make it on his on in the grape business. Second Son waited until his old man went senile and then got the geezer to sign the business over to him, cutting out First Son.

Why has Republicans become such a party of douchebags? Aw, is the news coverage of the vote count putting the fear of God in you? Don't worry. Trump doesn't want to be president, and hasn't since he started running in 2016. He's just helping you learn to be a better civilized citizen. He's actually more friendly than he appears, like professional wrestlers.

Here is another story about two brothers, Er and Onan, taken from Genesis 38: 7-10 So Yahweh killed Er just because he looked wicked. And then Yahweh killed Onan for ejaculating outside of Tamar's vagina.. What a nice guy.
Perhaps in my next post I should talk about how Jehovah slew Ananias and his wife Sapphira (Acts 5: 1-10) in order to put the "fear of God" into the rest of the congregation.

Perhaps in my next post I should talk about how Jehovah slew Ananias and his wife Sapphira (Acts 5: 1-10) in order to put the "fear of God" into the rest of the congregation. The first five books of the Bible were not written by a prophet unless you count Moses who didn't actually "write" them but collected the mostly oral traditions of the Hebrews up to his leadership of them and turning the mantle over to Joshua. In them God promises to send a "prophet" (or series of prophets) who will say what God gives him (or them) to say. Do I need to tell you how to play "Bible Simon Says"? I've already explained the game several times. Please also notice that the book of Acts was written by Luke who is not an apostle.

Why has Republicans become such a party of douchebags? See? You see this, people? How far removed from politics is this thread? It doesn't matter. He sees a chance, however slim, and he can't NOT do it!

Do you consider yourself the sort who promises more than you can deliver? It’s about winners and losers and being a winner is all that matters, otherwise your a loser. You want to lose? You want to win?

So are there anymore layers behind this parable. The work he wanted them to do may not be their forte. The first son may have had another engagement that is why he couldn't and the second my have forgotten his engagement, so had to forfeit his labour. How old were they anyway?

Teenagers or young adults, probably. They could have been aged adults and the father was an old despot. Yes, and that's yet another one to be filed under THINGS THAT DON'T MATTER.
