Well he hung in as long as he could. Poor guy. I grew up watching him on Jeopardy. Don't forget he was in "White Men Can't Jump" as far as movies go:

Same here. He had me foolishly hopeful because he was still hosting the show, still working every day. (I watch Jeopardy regularly.) This is a real downer.

Trebek has a voice cameo in "Predator 2" when the woman with the broom is watching Jeopardy! on TV and hears the Predator making noise in the bathroom as it heals itself.
Don't forget about Bill Murray watching Jeopardy! in "Groundhog Day" and getting all the questions right as you hear/see Alex read the clues.

I just looked him up yesterday because of the Free Guy trailer. I thought he'd died and had a posthumous cameo, and was like "oh good, he's still kicking and hosting Jeopardy until 2022".

Lost Sean exactly one week before we lost Alex. They'll always be connected from the SNL sketches, and now their real lives from passing so close together. RIP
