Who would be the 4th? First three are easy
Alabama Notre Dame Ohio State
Who's the 4th?
Clemson? Ranked 4th. They will probably play ND in the ACC title game. If they win, they take ND's place. Would the one loss Irish be the 4th? The committee would like to avoid a third matchup between the two. Usually a ratings disaster
Texas A&M? One loss, to Alabama. Both win out, A&M is out of the SEC title game Florida? - One loss, to Texas A&M. Could Florida go and the Aggie stay home? Must beat Alabama anyway The No Loss Teams, Cincinnati or BYU. Strength of schedule Miami - See A&M. Miami wins out, no ACC title game Indiana - Win at Columbus and it's a possibility. Wonder what the odds were on the Hoosiers in August Pac-12 - Wait and see
Just a preliminary look, lots of football to be played

Gimme -
Coastal Carolina 7-0 (#15) Cincy 6-0 (#7) BYU 8-0 (#8) Liberty 7-0 (#22)
This is the year they need to have a Sweet #16 to iron all of this mess out - or even a field of 32

If Clemson's only loss was a tight game with Notre Dame with no Trevor Lawrence, then they should be the 4th team.

Iβm going to go with Cincy getting the 4th seed. Would love to see them get #4 and OSU get #1. Battle of Ohio for the CFP Playoff, yo.
Unfortunately, non-Power 5 teams have no shot of getting in. So itβs going to be Clemson getting the 4th seed.

Ohio State (Lock)
Winner of Alabama vs Florida (Lock)
If Notre Dame beats Clemson again in the ACC championship, they are the #1 seed and Clemson is out. If Clemson beats Notre Dame, then they both have 1 loss to each other and they are both in.
So it could be..
Ohio State Alabama (or Florida) Notre Dame Clemson
Or
(If Clemson loses to Notre Dame 2x)
Then replace Clemson with One Loss Alabama (if they lose to Florida) or 1 loss Texas A&M (if the Gators lose to Bama in the SEC Championship)

If Florida wins out and beats Alabama in a close SEC title game, would both go and Texas A&M be frozen out?
