Sadly, there is nary a sporting event this week that remotely piques my interest.

Yes, that'll be a nice soft landing towards the holidays & finally turning 2020 to ashes. I really hope it's not a boring 1 horse race, which being 2020 of course it will. I like DJ to claim it. I'm not sure Bryson's game is suited for Augusta...thankfully. I've read some in the know suggesting him missing the cut wouldn't even surprise them. CBS will have to juggle its NFL coverage around yes? I've not done my homework there. I would hope they also have earlier start times lest the sun sets a whole lot earlier than April.

Wikipedia to the rescue: 10am EST start times, concluding around 2:30-3pm. For those who care, CBS' SEC game will be at night on Sat, & NFL Sunday 4pm as usual. This isn't terribly irregular as we all watched Tiger win last year pushed up earlier due to weather. The same bit pointed out it'll be the first time since 1963 that UK viewers will need to pay for tv coverage, Sky Sports, which I'm not sure if that's just a formality like TSN or ESPN.

I'm really praying that the NFL network replays the Chargers last second loss to the Raiders.
I'm a glutton for punishment. 😉

Sadly, there is nary a sporting event this week that remotely piques my interest. You must have a channel there that shows classic Mets games. I've got a channel here that usually shows some Giants games from the last decade or so, though I haven't come across any yet this offseason.

I've got a channel here that usually shows some Giants games from the last decade or so, though I haven't come across any yet this offseason. SNY always shows classic Met games. Historically, it kinda sucked because they always played the same 4 games: (i) Mets clinching the division in 2015; (ii) Johan's no-hitter one hitter; (iii) Mets clinching division in 2006; and (iv) the Wilmer Flores game in 2015 (which was admittedly awesome). When the pandemic started and the season went on indefinite hiatus, however, they threw up a whole slate of games that was awesome. They showed the entire 1969, 1973, 1986 and 2015 postseasons so that was fun. They also showed a bunch of random games from the 80s and that was exciting, Pedro's first start at Shea, some great games featuring heroics from Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, etc. Truth be told, I'm in my busy time so TV is fairly limited. Even if that were on, by the time I get home, do a quick workout, make/eat dinner and clean up after and walk my dog, it's basically time for a quick puff and maybe an hour or whatever.
