Interesting that Michigan had now cracked the top 25 when they weren't even on the "next 4" on the last one I saw.

This isn't a good showing for The Big East at all
Nice to see Creighton back though
I've lost hope over the years for Georgetown and St. Johns -
But over the past few years besides 'Nova and Creighton - we've see Butler, Xavier and Marquette frequent the Top 25 - hopefully they'll impress before Conference Play starts.....

Probably mediocre again
Feels like they haven't been relevant since the Speedy Morris, Lionel Simmons, Doug Overton days
Had a couple of good seasons around 2012 or so - then fell off the face of the Earth again
Hoping to see St. Joe's bounce back - I was one for Martelli getting let go - but they really laid an egg last year in Billy Lange's 1st season

Blech. San Diego State's greatest season stolen by a virus. That's going to sour the year for me (plus the likelihood that they only end up playing 15 games this year).

Penn State is nowhere near me.
A majority of these schools are in Philly - 'Nova on the outskirts.
I get like 0.00001% of people who are Alumni continuing to root for Penn State because they feel an allegiance to their school
But if you didn't go to school there and your root for that creepy cult?
Ehhhhhhhhh - that seems a little off to me after those disgusting vile acts - but you do you Bub - that school should have gotten the death penalty - and the creepy cult whined and cried for years that Joe Pa was getting a raw deal turning him into a martyr
But hey! I root for that disgusting University just because I lived in the state for a time!
And of course you're allowed to root for other Universities - You though? You're fanatical about that creepy University as seen by your attacks on myself over the years. I thought you actually went to school there the way you've behaved - you just root for that despicable school since you lived in the state and act like a giant baby throwing fits and temper tantrums just because I don't like them but you do - because you lived in the state - but hey - if you're a fan - knock yourself out - my opinion shouldn't matter.

Your opinion doesn't matter - - so we agree on that. Penn State was near me - - I grew up in Central Pennsylvania. Strange that you couldn't conceive that people might live close to there, as if Philadelphia was the only part of Pennsylvania. And saying that they should have gotten the death penalty is asinine. Actually, the whole concept of a death penalty is asinine. There is no true governing body - - as the NCAA is quickly getting to realize.

But you go completely off your rocker everytime I make a jab at them over the years as opposed to ignoring me and you throw a temper tantrum all because I don't like that Creepy Cult Makes sense

Maybe next year they'll be 'Elite', eh?

They are bad this year, and while they were overrated to begin with, they shouldn't be this bad. To be fair, Indiana is sitting at 3-0 and Tua's brother is really good for Maryland. Nebraska doesn't look good, so if they lose to them, then it's really a horrific year. (sorry to everybody else reading this for the college basketball hijacking. Go Aztecs!)

To be fair, people who live in any metropolis tend to be this way. Massachusetts doesn't exist outside of Boston (there's even Celtics gear with '617' emblazoned on it. I guess they didn't expect Celtics fans to exist out in the boonies of the 413 area code), Illinois (and really the entire Midwest) doesn't exist outside of Chicago, etc.
