This is a classic debate in the fandom.

I prefer the Victory Celebration music. Yub Nub is catchy and cute, but the updated music is more smooth and nostalgic, evening having a slight bittersweet feel to it. Which is appropriate as, even though it is a happy ending, there is a hint of sadness in seeing these beloved characters ride off into the sunset. Therefore I felt it gave a stronger sense of finality to the trilogy.

I’d like to see a fan edit that starts off with Yub Nub and transitions into Victory celebration for the end.

If it's not Yub Nub that means you are seeing Hayden Christensen.

If it's not Yub Nub that means you are seeing Hayden Christensen. The 1997 Special Edition doesn’t have Hayden Christensen.

Yub Nub really doesn't play that long until it cuts to the credits and plays the Star Wars main titles. I think a skilled fan-editor could figure it out. Maybe it could be Victory that transitions to Yub Nub when they're back on Endor.

What was hilarious that some millennials may not realize is we were shown prequel I-III cgi cityscapes in that ROTJ special edition sequence before the prequels were released. They were basically rumoured locales.

I prefer the Victory Celebration. With the prequels in mind, it encapsulates the end of the Star Wars saga.

The only part of Yub Nub I like is the music where he sees the spirits since it kind of had a mystical native ambience to it, and the very last classical choral boost before the credits start. But the SE music is less cutesy overall and suggests a victory for the galaxy not just the ewoks so I prefer that.
The original Sy Snootles song is FAR superior to that awful replacement song.

I'd have to go with Victory Celebration. The new endings otherwise suck, but the music is admittedly more fitting to close the trilogy than some Ewok gibberish.
