When I saw the episode in question I actually thought "oh boy, that is a bit problematic" - but I didn't imagine that anyone would go as far as complaining about it. Welcome to present day, traveler. Here, there is no need for whale oil and we've devised lanterns that can fit into your pocket.

Just explain to them its like an abortion.. No matter how many you massacre its okay since they aren't alive. except it isn't in any way shape or form like abortion. You are absolutely right! Destroying an embryo is far more objectionable than destroying an unfertilized egg.

Why won’t anyone speak for the thousands of baby spiders ruthlessly slaughtered.

Do journalists now just spend all their time looking for angry Tweets to make into "news"?

I think its a reminder of why he needs a good father figure to mold him into an ethical being and if he doesn't have such a good role model, galaxy beware a second Empire will rise. He is 45. But his species ages incredibly slowly, it is reverse dog years.

Do journalists now just spend all their time looking for angry Tweets to make into "news"? People search social media for news "stories" They call themselves reporters & they ARE reporting on something. Question is if it's actually newsworthy

Well an entire planet was blown up in Star Wars killing A LOT of species for good, yet by the end of the movie everyone was laughing it up and handing out medals.

People are stupid. She had multiple eggs in the hope one would be fertilized. It ended up fine so no harm done.

But his species ages incredibly slowly, it is reverse dog years. Does it matter? It's still 45 years of accululated knowledge.

But his species ages incredibly slowly, it is reverse dog years. He can accumulate knowledge and adapt to his circumstances at a normal rate as we saw in the series. So 45 is 45. He is small and he ages slowew but he has a brain of a middle-aged weirdo...
