Probably Airplane! (1980), right?

Night of the Living Dead, depending on what you mean. There are stills of the people killing zombies throughout the end credits and then after the credits roll we see film of a bonfire burning.
Airplane! seems to be the first in the way we think of a post-credit scene now.

I would say Airplane, though Smokey and the Bandit was the first movie I remember that showed bloopers during the closing credits. Not exactly the same thing, but that was before Airplane.

The Muppet Movie (1979) has The Muppets discussing their own movie throughout the entire end credits and after the credits end, Animal breaks the fourth wall and says "Go home."

Would Dead of Night (1945) count? Granted it’s probably one of the first closing-credits-in-scene, and the movie ends shortly after they’re done.
Was the Edward Van Sloan epilogue in the first screenings of DRACULA (1931) before or after ‘The End. A Universal Picture.’

It was actually the next Needham/Reynolds/Sally teamup, Hooper, according to wiki anyway: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_with_post-credit_scenesApparently The Silencers slightly beat Night of the Living Dead for first aftercredit scene ever.

Not to be a smartalec but every film that existed before they transitioned to putting the main credits at the end of the movie.
