I like it very much as well. My personal ranking is:
1. Empire Strikes Back (could be #2 as well) 2. Star Wars (could be #1 as well) 3. Revenge of the Sith 4. Force Awakens 5. Return of the Jedi 6. Attack of the Clones 7. Phantom Menace
(Put Rogue One between RotS and TFA if you're curious)

My Top 3 SW films:
The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars Revenge of the Sith
That means I enjoyed Revenge more than Return. I love the Opera Scene and the Ending (same as OP)
Of course Ian McDiarmid totally crossed the OTT line with "Unlimited Power!" but I forgive him when the other line comes: Henceforth you shall be known as Darth (stop)......... "Vader"

Attack of the Clones is a travesty of a movie and it is 3 on your list. As I said, trolling. Holding an opinion that differs greatly from yours or the accepted "norm" does not necessarily equal trolling.

It's my fave of the prequels but that's mostly because Anakin does at times feel kind of badass. The march on the Jedi Temple was a cool moment. The writing is poor and pretty much anything in the prequels between Anakin and Padme felt terrible...but this one had action scenes I could enjoy.

I am going to just say it. You can shoot me, hang me up by my toes, flog me with your plastic light sabers... This is my FAVORITE Star Wars film. It's the most complete story of the series, it has the best ending, and the most emotionally impactful scene of the series (Obi-Wan's speech to Anakin at the end before he defeats him in battle). It has the Opera scene, which is one of the best sequences in the series, it is more complex than simply "Red Saber" = Bad "Blue Saber" = Good. indeed, It's the most relevant Star Wars by far, this is a dystopian moral tale, not just a bland space fairy tale anymore. We see a system and a people stumble over itself and disintegrate, and the rise of demagogues. And it has a dark ending, which is preciously rare in modern blockbusters, alas.

Probably the best of the prequels, no doubt about that. Not saying all that much though. It was okay.

I didn't care for the two previous prequels, but I really enjoyed "Revenge of the Sith." I kinda thought the whole prequel trilogy could have been one film and this one had the most beef. Highlights included Palpatine becoming 'the Emperor,' the killing of the kids, the reasons behind Yoda's self-imposed exile, and best of all, the fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin in the climax. This battle was really well done, both in stunts and in the dialogue that popped in between saber volleys. I thought Anakin and Obi-Wan were very well written in their final conflict, and both were easy to feel sympathetic for. The gravity of their conflict felt real and relatable to me.
"Revenge of the Sith" gave me the battle I was looking for that turned Anakin into Vader, and that was worth seeing it for me.

I have never seen your posts on here once. You obviously pay attention to me though. I wish I were as intelligent as you (sarcasm). Listen, moron, Attack of the Clones is easily the worst Star Wars movie. It is seriously terrible. It easily has the worst writing of the entire series. Yet, you morons think it is not just good, but the third best Star Wars movie. Someone is making a fool of themselves and it is not me.

I smelled your foul stench when I came on this board.
The ability to speak does not make you intelligent (no sarcasm)
Only a Sithhead speaks in absolutes. You want to go home and rethink your life.

The writing is not opinion; it is fact. You are seriously dumb as shit with your opinion comments. "In my opinion, Steel and Kazaam are better movies than The Godfather and Shaq is a better actor than Marlon Brando." Sure, that technically is your opinion, but it is a stupid and completely twisted opinion not based in reality.

The writing is not opinion; it is fact. You don't know the difference between a fact and an opinion. That's a fact.

It's the best of the prequels.
That's not saying a lot.

agreed, this was the movie that made me a fan, and showed me that Star Wars is not just for kiddies and lowbrow nerds.
RotS has one of the best written villains ever in Palpatine, a great moral story, and ample of iconic scenes that are the narrative backbone of the saga: from the very first shot, to the Opera scene, to Order 66, to the foreboding destruction of the senate by the Sith/Jedi fight, to the bitter-sweet twin sunset ending.
