Earlier this year, producer Dan Lin confirmed that the plan was to bring the entire original gang back together for the sequel. Hey, why hasn't Richard Donner been working since 16 Blocks anyway? I liked it.

Aren't the cast a bit too old for these roles? Also, director Richard Donner is 90 years old.

The only way the cast can play these roles again is if they play mentors to a younger cast.

Murtaugh was already 50 years old in the first movie.

To say I have mixed emotions on this would be a huge understatement. I absolutely love this franchise, even more than Die Hard. So on the one hand, it would be a lot of fun to see Riggs, Murtaugh, Leo, Lorna and Butters all back together, but on the other hand they are all pretty long in the tooth at this point. I also worry that we'll get another Crystal Skull that will screw up the memory of the original quartet (even though part III comes close to that already).

If it surpasses the third one, I’d be satisfied.

Is Danny Glover coming back? I'd be rather surprised if he did.

I can't imagine that Donner at his age would be involved. But regardless, I think it's a bad idea.

You know a documentary about Donner trying to direct this movie would probably be more entertaining, 90 is really pushing it...

I doubt Pesci would come out of retirement for this like he did for The Irishman. I think Pesci did The Irishman as a favor to Scorsese.

Has anyone seen the state of Danny Glover I mean Mel Gibson is probably up for it but I think Danny should have a rest.

Well he was hardly jumping through car windows, dodging bullets, getting punched, doing the punching or walking away from explosions but I'll take what I can get thanks.

Hate to say it but I agree, by now it'd be about their kids/grandkids picking up where they left off.

Walter Hill should direct 'Another Another 48HRS' and complete the trilogy. It could go head-to-head at the box-office with 'Lethal Weapon 5'.
