Not supported does not mean will not exist. It just means they will not be updating the software.

I think the flash games that exist on (example) pogo(EA) will continue to function. While not supported/changed, the users have a community and value that also uses the entire site. I am not in that boardroom, but to lose a user who plays flash games, is a user who now crossed the street to another store. Flash game or not. Just my thoughts.

enigma72IF you have Win10 ... there are some free Microsoft games including Mahjong. The word games are fun.. there's one like Boogle and a Twister (you make words out of letters you are given) and a Crosswords.

They must rolling out something new. Built in obsolescence: helps keep the stock prices soaring. They've been rolling out something new for years now: HTML5. You can do a lot more with multimedia content in-browser rather than needing a third party plugin. It's not forced obsolescence; it's just boring ole' progression and improvement. The girthiest nail in Flash's coffin was that it was a never-ending security headache and it never managed to ditch that reputation.

I seem to recall from years gone by a standalone flash player. If you had that, you would only need to download the .swf to your hard drive and run it from there with the player.
