A shame he couldn't do this years down the line and on his own accord, but at least he leaves a legacy behind.

anyway .... his character on The Good Wife was a great one for him . It looked like he was having fun doing it.

He technically retired before, but still did an acting job here and there like with "The Good Wife". But now it seems like he's done for good unless he changes his mind.

Well, it's our collective loss as movie fans, but I wish him all the best with any future endeavours.

Wait, seriously? What on Earth for? It's Michael J. Fox! perhaps it's something to do with someone always has to say something mean to counter anything good ... EVERY tribute thread HAS to have a "I never liked him" ... every "This is a good film" thread HAS to have a "you suck even more than the movie !" It's some sort of rule....

He's had a really tough life but always comes across as retaining a positive outlook on things. There's no doubting that his illness affected his career in later years, but the fact that he kept working is commendable. Wishing him all the best in his future endeavours.

He did a recent interview with Marc Maron on the WTF podcast and for all his problems he still comes across as someone with a great sense of humour and isn’t shy of taking a few shots at himself.
