It isn't a swimsuit. It's standard battlewear worn by all the Amazons. Why isn't Supes in a fricken speedo? Kryptonians don't wear that. It's like asking why do Scotsmen wear kilts but Frenchmen don't? Why do Germans wear lederhosen but Italians don't? Because kilts are a Scottish thing and lederhosen are a German thing. Amazons have their own style of clothing and Kryptonians have their won style of clothing. And Americans have their own style of clothing. And it doesn't involve women fighting in their bras and panties (unless it's in the WWE). Even female fighters in the MMA don't fight in just a bra and panties. But apparently, MCU thinks that a bra and panties is normal battle attire for Captain Marvel since that's how they're promoting their first female-led superhero movie - by showing her in her bra and panties. Amazons aren't real. Meaning they are dressed by guys to be fantasies for the geek audience. Realistically the outfits females wear to play hero in comics are often wildly impractical. Like fricken stilettos. Roddenberry commented had he to do it over again, he wouldn't have dressed the female crewmembers in micro minis. He realized as he watched all the gals tugging them down between takes a military would dress people in far more practical dress-like pants.

Yeah that is so evident when you consider Black Widow has been an integral part of at least 4 Marvel films, Scarlet Witch 2. What about Gamora in GOTG? Then there is Agent Carter and Jessica Jones on TV. And two of the three main leads in Agents Of SHIELD are female. And then you have the various strong female characters in smaller roles in the Marvel films...don't see many of those in the current DCCU.

MCU hates female superheroes. That's why MCU kept refusing to make a female-led superhero movie and only announced Captain Marvel as a reaction to DCEU making a Wonder Woman movie. None of those mentioned are "minor". Supporting roles yes...minor no.
Stop living in this strange little world where you think Marvel/Disney executives are sitting there, pens poised waiting to see what DCs next move is. If anything, DC are trying to emulate what Marvel are doing...extended Universes, crossovers, making films about lesser known characters. It is just as easy to accues Suicide Squad of being a reaction to GOTG, JLA a reaction to The Avengers etc.

It's bad enough that MCU has refused to make a female-led superhero movie for such a long time, but it's even worse that instead of showing her as a strong woman who can stand up and fight for herself and kick some ass, MCU is promoting their first female-led superhero movie by showing her in her bra and panties.

No, they just wanted to take their time and make a proper movie instead of the rushjob DC is doing with WW. They've seen DC's past attempt with Catwoman and don't want to set things back that badly. Their TV shows are more progress than WB is doing, because they took time and effort. TV Stars aren't minor characters. Netflix is the future, plenty watch it. And Agent Carter was good, but good shows get canceled all the time....like your precious Powerless? Having a big budget movie doesn't mean much if it bombs, like WW will. They decided to make Captain Marvel because now it's time, it would've happened without Wonder Woman.

Their TV shows are more progress than WB is doing Agent Carter was cancelled after just 18 episodes (less than a full season for normal TV shows) and Agents of SHIELD still hasn't been renewed for next season yet. All 4 DC's CW TV shows have already been renewed for next season. So they're not making more progress than WB. TV Stars aren't minor characters. TV stars are generally not as well-known to the general public as movie stars. Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt were unknown by most of the general public before they had lead roles in MCU. After having a lead role in MCU, most of the general public have heard of them. But Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones are still unknown by most of the general public. Similar for the DCEU stars. Prior to MoS, I had seen Henry Cavill on TV in The Tudors so I was familiar with Henry Cavill but he was unknown by most of the general public. After MoS, most of the general public have heard of Henry Cavill. Prior to The Wolf of Wall Street, I had seen Margot Robbie on TV in Pan Am so I was familiar with Margot Robbie but she was unknown by most of the general public. After The Wolf of Wall Street, most of the general public have heard of Margot Robbie. Movie actors/actresses have more of a chance of becoming known to the general public than TV actors/actresses do. But MCU refused to have to make a female-led superhero movie because they hate female superheroes. That's why MCU put female superheroes only on TV or in supporting roles in their movies, until they were pressured into announcing a Captain Marvel movie after DCEU announced they were making a Wonder Woman movie. Nope, Netflix isn't going to last. The problem with Netflix is that it's a paid subscription, on top of the basic cable that most people are already paying for and the premium channels that some people are already paying for. With basic cable and maybe 1 or 2 premium channels, that's already a pretty significant monthly TV bill so normal people aren't going to pay for an additional subscription service like Netflix. Only rich people (the 1% that's always talked about during election years) would be able to afford subscription services like Netflix in addition to the premium cable channels that they're already paying for. So most people don't subscribe to Netflix and won't subscribe to Netflix in the future either. Agent Carter was a lame show that got low ratings, which is why it was cancelled after only 18 episodes (less than a full season for normal TV shows). Having a big budget movie doesn't mean much if it bombs, like WW will. Wonder Woman will be a huge hit. Captain Marvel will be a bomb. They decided to make Captain Marvel because now it's time, it would've happened without Wonder Woman. MCU decided to make a Captain Marvel movie only because DCEU announced a Wonder Woman movie. Have they started shooting this movie? I dont think so. Footage is fake. Marvel showed fake footage from their movie at their comic-con panel? They didn't show that footage at all. Comic Con was July, all the 'leaked trailer' videos were uploaded December or later.

Nope, the Justice League played no role in anything Marvel did. Those other Marvel teams would've existed without the JLA, mainly because the JLA wasn't original in the first place.

Netflix is a superior medium though, eps released all at once, don't have to worry about breaks, schedule changes or being canceled mid-season. You should learn to quote people using BBCode, will make your point by point responses flow much better. Try copying a person's entire post in BBcode, pasting it once each for each point you want to reply to, and delete the unnecessary repeated parts.

Agents of Shield ties into the movies Agents of Shield doesn't tie into the movies. Agents of Shield doesn't do anything except make a random mention of the movies now and then, which is exactly what Powerless did. Agents of SHield is no more tied to the MCU movies as Powerless was tied to the DCEU movies. Both shows have nothing to do with the movies. Powerless lasted even less than Agent Carter. 2 different genres. Powerless is a comedy. Marvel has never done anything like it so there's no comparison. Agent Carter is a drama on network TV so it can be compared to the CW TV shows. And compared to the CW TV shows, Agent Carter (which lasted only 18 episodes) would be less than a full season while Arrow is finishing its 5th full season and already renewed for a 6th season, The Flash is finishing its 3rd full season and already renewed for a 4th season, Supergirl is finishing its 2nd full season and already renewed for a 3rd season, and Legends of Tomorrow has had 33 episodes over 2 seasons and already renewed for a 3rd season. Also, Gotham is finishing its 3rd full season on Fox, CW is adding Black Lightning next season, and SyFy is adding Krypton next season. Nope, Netflix isn't going to last. Netflix is a superior medium though, eps released all at once, don't have to worry about breaks, schedule changes or being canceled mid-season. Whether or not Netflix is a superior medium (because it allows binge-watching with no breaks or schedule changes) is irrelevant. Netflix isn't going to last. Oh you're making predictions again. You should realize your predictions mean nothing here because you refuse to acknowledge being wrong about BvS not making $1B let alone passing The Avengers, Civil War making $1B, and Doctor Strange being a success. You're too cowardly to comment on Whedon directing Batgirl. Stop giving your opinions on things like anyone gives a shit. That's too complicated for him. He's an MCU fan and MCU fans can't understand complicated things. Let me introduce you to syllogisms. I'm an MCU fan. I understand the 'complicated thing' in q uestion. Therefore, MCU fans can understand complicated things.
Also therefore, you're a double-moron!

The same way they showed Cap and Thor and Spidey half-naked. Equal treatment for sexes after all. Anywho, DC is only making Wonder Woman to try and beat Marvel to it after all the damage they did with Catwoman. But they'll botch it and it'll be up to MCU and Captain Marvel to clean up the mess, as usual. It's a bloody swimsuit & you know it. Guys arms & legs covered, presumably for protection, but the woman shows as much skin as possible? Why isn't Supes in a fricken speedo? Not like he needs to protect his skin. Hell, Namor runs around in a speedo, but Aquaguy needs to cover everything? Yeah? We have a movie called 300 that shows around 300 guys all walking, sweating and fighting in nothing more than loincloths. Do you have any female equivalent of that film?

You actually believed the that it was just a coincidence that the Patriots had an equipment guy on their team who called himself "The Deflator" at the same time when Brady got caught using illegally-deflated footballs in a championship game and you actually believed that Jim "The Deflator" McNally called himself "The Deflator" because he was trying to lose weight. LOL!!! Oh I'm delusional and stupid am I? You said Batman v Superman would surpass The Avengers' box office of $1.54B. It didn't even make $1B. You said Civil War would not make $1B. You said Doctor Strange would fail. Making those wrong predictions is fine, but you won't even acknowledge that you were wrong (WAY wrong on those). THAT makes you the stupid and delusional one. You rate every Marvel movie a 1 while they're getting great ratings on IMDB or great reviews from RT or making a billion dollars and/or 4x their production cost. To so consistently hate a franchise that others so consistently enjoy makes you delusional and clearly miserable. You actually believed the that it was just a coincidence that the Patriots had an equipment guy on their team who called himself "The Deflator" at the same time when Brady got caught using illegally-deflated footballs in a championship game This is a prime example of confirmation bias. We've already had this debate a couple times and it reaches a dead-end with you appealing to the authority of Exponent and Marlow. Exponent's science is crap. If you understood science, you'd see it. Wet and dry footballs don't warm at the same rate like they contend, and to conclude Anderson was wrong about which gauge he used pre-game like they did would require data that was never recorded.
