Sometimes it drives me nuts. I love my carols, but would prefer to hear them closer to Christmas!

What irritates me is not only that radio stations play them way too early (some stations begin right after Halloween), but that they immediately stop playing them by the end of Christmas Day. It's still the Christmas season, at least through New Years Day, with people still celebrating and getting in touch with friends and family (at least in normal years), so why not let people relax and hear holiday music through the actual holiday season when they're still in the mood?

My benchmark for anything Christmas related is after I go to the Santa Claus Parade in town. I come home, have lunch, and watch "Miracle On 34th Street" (the original). That night, I transfer all of my Christmas music to my iTunes library. They stay on there until after the 12th day of Christmas.
Well....since there was no Santa Claus Parade this year....what to do?
The local radio station started with their Christmas marathon early. Of course, there were some saying it's WAY too early. I have this to offer:
After the year we've all had, we need a little more Christmas cheer this time around.

I start playing my favorite Christmas music sometime after the 15th of November.
God bless you always!!!

Always too early and always tied to ads and shopping anyway.

I agree, after Christmas is too soon.
