The article says that Boyega would be open to voicing the Finn character in an animated series in the future. But in other interviews Boyega has said that he has no desire to play the character in a live action TV series. Translation: Boyega thinks Finn is a cartoon character. Which is consistent with the other characters in the sequel/Disney trilogy. Some of their traits have been more cartoonish than the traits of characters in Star Wars cartoons. And neither Daisy Ridley nor Oscar Isaac are interested in playing their characters again either.

Well when some of the SW cartoon characters would make better live action characters, and most of the sequel trilogy characters would make better cartoon characters, that’s a problem.
