I stumbled upon one of them while researching punk music. It seems Simon Climie was active in the punk era, but like so many youthful musicians and performers on the punk scene, he came to prominence some time later. I read that Rob Fisher was in a band with members of Tears For Fears which also interests me as I've come to like this band very much, ever since being turned on to their music by the fantasy film 'Donnie Darko' (2001).
My workmate who loves all things '80s said they were top dollar and could always "rise to the occasion" (I think he was referencing one of their songs).
Any recommendations are appreciated.
Thanks.

I would recommend the song "Love Changes Everything". It got a lot of airplay on the local radio station when it first came out. In that song, Climie sounded a lot like Rod Stewart (to me).
Never did I think it would be available on iTunes. But, it was. So, I downloaded it.

I'll listen to the song this weekend when I can hopefully relax more - thanks for the recommendation!

Oh, that's a great song. I couldn't help thinking it would sound great on a movie soundtrack (I've heard it before, just never knew what it was called). I need to keep the Climie Fisher playlist turning on random play.
Great music for a Friday. Thank you so much.

I detest bringing up old threads. However, for this fact, I HAVE to. I mentioned that Climie sounded a lot like Rod Stewart? Browsing the comments for the video on YouTube, I have since found the song "Love Changes Everything" was originally written for Rod Stewart to record. However, he turned it down. Joker's Wilde

Oh, cool. That's really interesting, thanks for sharing. I've been listening to Rod Stewart and Elton John's early 1970s work with Long John Baldry of late.
