Both Shrek/SNL alumni who wanted to remake something from the 60s (Jerry Lewis’ original film and James Bond parodies, respectively) for 90s audiences, imitating their icon, Peter Sellers, along the way by playing multiple characters. Which one did it for you the most?

I think Murphy. Not only is he playing even more people, but I think he's more layered (no pun intended). I always found the scene with Dave Chappelle humiliating Sherman painful to watch because even though it's a guy in a fatsuit, Murphy plays it completely straight.
Though I like Austin and Dr Evil more as characters.

I've never found either side splittingly hilarious but if I must I would give the slight ant sized edge to Eddie Murphy.
