Not only because of his performance in "Midnight Cowboy", but despite all of his support for the President, I still can't equate Joe Buck and Jon Voigt. I think I just fully realized that it's the same guy!

In some of his later performances, he's almost unrecognisable, including political dramas that run the political gamut from right to left. He's simply one of the greatest actors of his generation.

Conrack and Midnight Cowboy were both amazing films. If he had only done those two movies he'd be considered one of the greats.

Voight transitioned from young leading man to character actor very well.
Jon Voight in Anaconda was like Frank Langella in Masters of the Universe. Giving way more to the part than you would expect.
